Intro to Tennis - Youth Start
Our free Intro to Tennis course is specially designed for absolute beginners and those returning to the game after a break. Recently delivered at Ramsgate and Margate, the course has helped dozens of children in receipt of free school meals build confidence, meet new people, and learn the basics of tennis in a fun and friendly setting.
Participants learn how to rally, serve, and score while developing key skills like footwork, coordination, and timing. Sessions include fun games and relaxed matchplay.
Thanks to support by the TASSO Foundation and Kent Tennis we are able to provide the course for free, provide a free racket and t-shirt – so there’s no need to bring anything except yourself. The course is led by qualified, supportive coaches who create an encouraging and inclusive environment.

Without a tennis racket? Fear not! We supply all necessary equipment and are happy to lend out spare rackets during our tennis sessions. When the time is right, we are happy to recommend the right size and type of racket for you.
